Daffodil Days. Join the fight against cancer! You can order American Cancer Society daffodils until February 12. Daffodils can be picked up March 11.

Food Shelf. Food donations may be left in the basket in the narthex. Monetary donations please make payable to Calvary with Food Shelf in the memo and drop in the offering plate or at the church office. Thank you!

Meals on Wheels. The Meals by Wheels program are in need of a Volunteer or Volunteers to drive our Wednesday route. If you can help, please contact Nancy Moris at 347-1558 in the Dietary Department of the Perham Hospital.

Parkinson's Support Group. Parkinson's Support Group being held the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 2:00 pm in Conference Rm #1 of the lower level of the Perham Memorial Hospital and Home. For further information call 346-2697. The meetings will provide information and group discussion about living with Parkinson's disease, one of the most common diseases of the nervous system.

Prayer Shawls Needed. Thanks to those who have been making prayer shawls. If you knit or crochet, do you want to make a shawl for someone hurting or who just needs an extra "hug?" Prayer shawls are always welcome.

Caregiver Support Group. Caregiver Support Group being held the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 2:00 pm in Conference Rm #1 of the lower level of the Perham Memorial Hospital and Home. For further information call 346-2697. No cost, just come and enjoy coffee, conversation and share experiences. We meet to support and learn from each other.

Children in Crisis. Connecting Families First: Mobile Mental Health Crisis Team, Serving Children & Families in Clay, Otter Tail and Wilkin Counties." If you are a parent of a child ages birth-17 years old, and your child is struggling with out-of-control behaviors and at risk to harm him/herself, you can call for help to come right to your home. Anyone who resides in the Clay, Otter Tail & Wilkin County may call 1-800-223-4512 and ask to speak to a crisis staff member for Children's Crisis Services. Program hours: Monday-Friday: 4 PM to 10 PM and Sat/Sun/Holidays: 1 PM to 11 PM. All types of service providers are able to call this number well. Hearing Aid Help. The Hear Now Program of the Starkey Hearing Foundation holds out hope to those who need hearing aids but have no resources to acquire them. Inkjet Cartridge Recycling. We receive anywhere from 25 cents to $3 per cartridge depending on the make and model. Just a reminder that cartridges can be placed in a basket that sits at the bottom of the shelving unit that is located right as you enter the Fellowship Hall from the Narthex. Thank you!

Need work done around your home? Ron Anderson will arrange for a Rewind resident to help you. They would appreciate the work and the pay and you will love to "get it done." Call Ron at 346-5352.

Stephen Ministers Available. There are Stephen Ministers available to provide help for people experiencing crisis in their lives. Stephen Ministers are dependable friends who listen carefully, support, encourage and provide devotionals and prayer as appropriate. If you are aware of someone at Calvary or in the community who may need a Stephen Minister, Call Reg Hansen or Pastor Phil at the church office at 346-4780.

Hospice Help Needed. Hospice Red River Valley needs volunteers to assist patients by giving wheelchair rides, taking patients to coffee, reading to patients and/or just be a friend/sitting with them so the caregiver can take a break. Hairstylists also needed to provide haircuts for patients. Training and ongoing support provided. Scheduling visits is flexible. Please contact Muriel Leach at 847-9493 or mleach@hrrv.org.

Kinship Needs. Kinship Mentors. Make a difference in a child's life! Call Jill Shipman at 346-7102 for more information.

Lunch Buddies. Volunteers are needed to read and have lunch with kindergarten kids at Heart Of The Lakes Elementary the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. This is a great opportunity to support our youth and get involved with our schools! For more information contact Kinship at 346-7102.

Movies for Senior Citizens. The third Monday of each month at 1 p.m. there will be a movie for senior citizens (55+) at the Comet Theater in Perham at reduced cost. United Community Bank provides the movie, which is free for their Summit Club members. Comet Theater provides popcorn and pop.

Dental Care For Low Incomes. Apple Tree Dental in the Westridge Mall in Fergus Falls brings dental services to those with low incomes and accepts both MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance patients. To schedule an appointment or for more information call 877-998-2218.

Do you believe in the power of prayer? Consider being a pray-er on the Calvary Prayer Chain. Or perhaps you have a prayer request for this army of prayer warriors. Meal Ministry. Calvary has volunteers willing and able to prepare and distribute meals to people in need due to illness, birth, death or other personal crises. If you or someone you know could benefit from this ministry, contact the church office at 346-4780 or email halo@eot.com.

Fix It Ministry Is Ready If You Are. Fix-It Ministry is a group of Calvary members who are available to help people who need things fixed around their homes and cannot do it by themselves. It might be a painting project or weather stripping or a small remodeling job. We are asking if you need help. Morning Out Day Program For Alzheimer's/Dementia Patients. For those with Alzheimer's or dementia related illness. We meet at Town Center at the Perham Nursing Home every Tuesday except holidays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you know of families caring for a loved one 60 or more years of age, refer them us.
