BWCA CANOE TRIP JULY-AUGUST 2010

David Knudsen reports that there may be two openings for the canoe trip in July-August. Let him know if you want to enjoy the beauty of the wilderness.

YURT PROJECT

Rob McNair has been in contact with Craig Swanson about having the men help put together a Yurt. The purpose would be to be a drop off spot for a food drive and other such visible events. The original hope was to have it ready for Vacation Bible School but the timeline did not appear practical. There were a number of recommendations for obtaining materials: Lee offered canvas from a boat cover, Bryce suggested the name of Bruce Kiefer who is a sail maker. Craig will talk to Louie Westland for advice on how to get it done. We are still looking for someone to be the point man for this project.

DART BALL

Is anyone interested in forming a team to throw darts for "Dart Ball" in a monthly church league September-March? There are teams in the area and they are looking for two or more teams of five to six members on a team to start again this fall. Interested? Questions? Please call Dorvin Wendt at 346-7009.

REWIND

If you have odd jobs that could be done around the house, the folks at Rewind are looking for work. Call 346-6100.

CARING AND SUPPORTING THROUGH VISITATION

The men of Calvary visit those who are homebound or live in a nursing home. A folder for each person to be visited includes the address and other pertinent information. Click here for more information if you feel the person you visit may benefit from other Calvary ministries. Contact The Fishermen if you have questions.
