All those involved in the music ministry of Calvary assist the congregation in “making joyful noise” of praise, worship, and thanksgiving to our God. Choirs do not practice or perform during the summer, but soloists and small groups, both vocal and instrumental, provide special music during that time. Any time you have something special to share, talk to Russ Bunker and he will see where it can best fit in the schedule.

Carol Choir. Grades 1-5. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 3:45-4:15 p.m. They sing on the 1st Sunday of each month, September through May.

Youth Choir. Grades 6 and up. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 4:30-5:00 p.m. They sing on the 1st or 3rd Sunday of each month, September through May as they are able.

Contemporary Group. This group leads music at contemporary worship. Rehearsals are 5:00 p.m. Wednesdays unless otherwise posted. See newsletter or weekly bulletin for times.

Sweet Assurance. A female vocal ensemble who make their own special contribution to Calvary’s music ministry. They practice Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. except when posted otherwise. See newsletter or weekly bulletin for times.

Senior Choir. For 9th grade through adults who love to sing! Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. except when posted otherwise. They sing the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month and at other special services including an annual Christmas Cantata and on Choir Sunday, usually the 2nd Sunday in May, ending the choir season until fall.

Jonah & The Wailers. A male vocal ensemble whose music ministry extends beyond this church. They practice Wednesdays after Senior Choir about 8:20 p.m. unless otherwise posted. See newsletter or weekly bulletin for times.

Friends In Faith is a small group of men and women who love to sing gospel music and sing periodically at worship. Practice is bimonthly.
